The genSET final conference will target policy makers, science leaders, science administrators and researchers from European higher education institutions, research labs and industry. 

The theme of the conference is:

Gender Dimension as Driver of Science Innovation and Excellence in 21st Century

The conference will talk place in Brussels in Autumn of 2011 (date and venue will be confirmed in August 2010).

The programme will address the following themes:

• Improving the quality of research methods, and of knowledge production, application and communication
• Improving the use of social and intellectual capital of individuals within scientific institutions
• Improving institutional processes and practices in assessment, recruitment, and working conditions
• Improving institutional accountability for integrating gender into practices and processes
• Open dialogue between policy makers, gender experts, and scientists on mainstreaming gender European Research Area
• Promoting and building research evidence on the impact of gender dimension in science

A Scientific Committee composed of the members of the genSET Science Leaders Panel will oversee the Programme.
